Furniture and wood products from Vietnam
Indoor and outdoor furniture, butcher block countertops, plywood and custom millwork. Vietnam is a major exporter of wooden furniture. We find the factories that fit your product and volume, and we check the wood papers your market asks for.
A large industry with uneven factories
Wooden furniture is a large export industry in Vietnam, selling to the United States, Europe, Japan and Korea. Rubberwood from local plantations, acacia and imported oak, ash and walnut are all common.
The range is wide: from export plants with their own kilns and finishing lines to small workshops that subcontract both. Wood origin is now checked closely by buyers and customs in the US and the EU, so the paperwork matters as much as the joinery.

- Outdoor furniture in acacia, teak and aluminum

What we check at the factory
On top of our standard audit (registration, machines on the floor, capacity, references), these are the points that matter most in this sector.
Wood origin papers
Where the timber comes from and what the factory can prove: FSC chain of custody if claimed, verified with the certifier, and origin records for US and EU due diligence.
Kiln and moisture control
Own kiln or bought-in dried wood, and moisture readings at the line. Wood that is too wet cracks after it arrives.
Finishing line
Spray booths, drying and dust control. Most visible defects on furniture start here.
Formaldehyde and coatings
For panels and finishes sold in the US or EU, we check test reports for emission and coating rules that apply to your product.
Documents that come with the parts
We agree the document list with you before production, so nobody argues about it at shipment.
Reference: European Commission: deforestation regulation.
- Wood species and origin declaration
- FSC chain of custody certificate, if claimed
- Moisture content record
- Emission and coating test reports where required
- Packing and drop test record

Furniture and wood products: buyer questions
Something else? Email .
Can you source FSC-certified furniture?
Yes, from factories that hold a valid FSC chain of custody certificate. We check the certificate number with the certifier before shortlisting.
What does the factory need for EU deforestation rules?
Records showing where the timber came from, down to the source, so you can complete your due diligence. We check that the factory can produce them before the first order.
What is the minimum order for furniture?
It depends on the factory and product. Many export plants want a container per order. Some smaller workshops accept mixed loads. We match you to the right one.
