Automotive and motorcycle parts from Vietnam
Machined, stamped, cast and molded parts for vehicle makers, tier suppliers and aftermarket brands. Vietnam has a deep two-wheeler supply chain, and we find the factories in it that can work to your drawings and your paperwork.
A supply chain built around two-wheelers
Motorcycles are part of daily life in Vietnam, and international makers have built plants and supplier networks here for decades. That left a base of factories used to automotive habits: control plans, gauges at the machine and repeat orders over years.
The car side is younger and growing. For both, the gap is often documentation in English and experience with export buyers. We check whether a factory can deliver a full first-article package, not only good parts.
What buyers source here
- Brackets, mounts and machined housings
- Shafts, pins, bushings and turned parts
- Aluminum die cast covers and housings
- Stamped brackets and clips
- Plastic trim, clips and connectors
- Aftermarket and performance parts in low volume
- Motorcycle frames, footpegs, levers and covers
- Rubber and silicone seals and grommets
Processes and materials
The usual routes in this sector. Send your drawing if yours is different; we check the fit part by part.
| Process | Typical materials | What to watch |
|---|---|---|
| CNC turning and milling | Steel, aluminum, brass | From prototypes to repeat batches |
| Metal stamping | Cold rolled steel, galvanized, stainless | Progressive and transfer dies |
| Aluminum die casting | ADC12, A380 | Usually with machining after casting |
| Injection molding | PP, PA66 GF, ABS, POM | Tooling made locally or imported |
| Plating and powder coating | Zinc, nickel, chrome, powder | Salt spray tests on request |
What we check at the factory
On top of our standard audit (registration, machines on the floor, capacity, references), these are the points that matter most in this sector.
Process control
Control plans and inspection at the machine, not only at the end of the line. We look for gauges in use, not in a cabinet.
IATF 16949 claims
If the factory says it is certified, we verify the certificate and the site it covers. Many good tier 2 and tier 3 shops are not certified, and we say which is which.
Capacity under load
Automotive volumes repeat. We check how full the factory is and whether your schedule fits next to its existing customers.
Document package
Whether the factory can produce PPAP-style records in English: dimensional results, material certs, capability studies where asked.
Documents that come with the parts
We agree the document list with you before production, so nobody argues about it at shipment.
- Dimensional report on all drawing features
- Material certificates
- Control plan for production
- Capability data on key characteristics, if required
- Packaging and labeling spec

Can Vietnamese suppliers deliver a full PPAP?
Some can deliver all elements, some only part of it. We check this before shortlisting and tell you which elements each factory can produce.
Do you handle low-volume aftermarket parts?
Yes. Aftermarket and performance brands often order in hundreds, not tens of thousands. We match those briefs to shops that like smaller batches.
Who owns the tooling?
You do, when you pay for it. We put tooling ownership in writing before the mold or die is cut.
